Stern is jumping the shark

Stern has been raving like a lunatic about Bush and the religious right. He thinks that we're moving towards a police state and Bush needs to go. In fact, he's telling his listeners to vote for anybody but Bush. Does that mean John Kerry? The same John Kerry that is totally down to drop Stern from the airwaves. Is he telling people to vote for Nader?

Howard, you say Bill maher is an ass because he was cool on your show, then criticized you on his show. You say Maher is all about me me me, but I think you're the one that's acting like it's all about you you you. Why don't you ask the 25 million Iraqis who have been freed from the grips of a murderous dictator how they feel about Bush? They signed an Interim constitution the other day, but that's not important is it? No, what's important is making fun of disabled people and promoting anal sex, right? It's time to get over yourself, and start making people laugh again dude.

UPDATE: Stern is the new poster child for Move On with his Bush conspiracy theories, but it looks like John Kerry isn't the only Democrat concerned with broadcast indecency:
The Senate Commerce Committee voted 23-0 today to approve legislation that would raise fines for indecent broadcasts to as much as $500,000 and for the first time in history could subject violent TV programming whether originating on broadcast, basic cable or satellite TV channels to the same punishment.
Sounds pretty bipartisan to me too Glenn.
