Foundations of Freedom

The National Archives Experience offers the full texts as well as high-resolution images of the historic American Charters of Freedom. It is my hope that the words and ideas presented in these documents will one day be embraced throughout the world, but especially embraced by each proud American in these moments as a reminder of the priciples and ideals that we must fight to uphold.

Moore's heros

Mohammed of Iraq The Model responds to the likes of Michael Moore who have openly praised the terrorist scumbags that today killed almost 70 Iraqis standing in line to apply for police jobs.
Can you answer the question what will be the response of Iraqis towards these horrible attacks? I’ll help you; These victims came to volunteer to serve their country as IP members and this is not the 1st time this happens and the response of Iraqis to such attacks was always more volunteers and longer lines. What does that tell you Philippine and Spanish government? If this is bravery and wisdom, then how should your actions be labeled? Maybe it’s not your business? That would’ve been a more honest answer had you said it, but you’re not just cowards or stupid, you’re also hypocrites. This include all the "anti-war" crowd with all the clowns there such as Michael Moore and George Galloway and their likes. You make me SICK when you support the "Iraqi resistance" and call these killers a revolutionists. Did you watch your "resistance" today? This is what you support and this is how history will view you; supporters of murderers and criminals, and for what? Fame and money! Enjoy it. It won’t last, as the truth will soon be revealed and you'll be exposed to all as the disgusting parasites you are.

I doubt that we can forgive you all for your cowardice, stupidity and hypocracy just as we’ll never forget the sacrifices and the help of the Americans, Australians, British, Italians, Japanese and all the other coalition members.
Don't believe me about Michael Moore praising these terrorist slimeballs? Believe this.

Tivo Deal

I've been on the fence about buying a Tivo, mainly because I don't want to pay for the monthly Tivo service fee ($6.95 - $13.95). Well I just found this Toshiba SD-400 DVD player with built in 80 GB hard drive and FREE Tivo basic service. For only $199, I am seriously considering this one.

The only negative that I've noted from the Fat Wallet forum on this player is that the hard drive noise can be a disturbance at times. Still, at $199 for a DVD player and 80 GB Tivo, this is a great deal.

Check out Fat Wallet for the full discussion on this deal and many others. The Fat Wallet forums are a great place to find deals on all kinds of stuff. A couple of other great deal sites are SlickDeals and Hot Deals.

UPDATE: This rebate is good for $100 off so the price is now about $130 (1-2 months of required Tivo Plus subscription)

Changes

I'm back and ready to start posting frequently after a much needed breather from writing about the global political circus. While I continue to feed my addiction for such news over at my top 10 links, I've decided to lighten up my own format because my personal desires go far beyond politics. To all my faithful readers (I'm talking to you Frank), thanks for your continued support and I hope you find this blog useful, informative and entertaining.

With that said I'd like to mention a great deal I came across this morning. Loews is offering a pack of 6 movie tickets, each with a free popcorn, for $25. That comes out to a little over $4 per ticket which is a sweet deal, and the tickets are good for Imax as well. The tickets are good Monday - Thursday and they must be used by December 31st, 2004.
